Daille Kettrell, a Camden, NJ native, has been performing professionally for 30 years, including work as a keyboardist with the late vibraphonist legend Lionel Hampton, flutist Bobbi Humphrey, and R&B artist Vesta Williams. She worked in bands that have opened for Patti LaBelle, George Benson, and Alex Bugnon. As a bandleader and music director, she led her bands, Rites of Passage and Khamelion throughout the NY/NJ area, and was welcomed at the Priory Restaurant in Newark, NJ to full-house crowds on a regular basis. As a composer, she received an honorable mention for her composition, “The Next Plateau” in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Her music skills have allowed her to travel across the nation with various artists, and she plans to take that to the international level.

Daille is known for her versatility and has the ability to compose various styles of music equally well. Her piano stylings and sultry alto voice can be heard in area venues, such as Eddie V’s Prime Seafood Cherry Hill/King of Prussia/Princeton locations; Lederach Corner Store Piano Bar, Lederach, PA; Crowne Tavern, Glen Mills, PA;Wilson’s Restaurant & Live Music-Hi-Nella, NJ, and Felina Steak Hudson House Jersey City, NJ — performing most genres from jazz to pop. In addition to her first recorded album, “The Rite Time, The Rite Moment,” Daille's new indie release single, “For All” is available on various music platforms including CD Baby, Spotify and iTunes. As a music producer, she has a great ear and is highly skilled in this area. She was a core member of the band, Pristine Raeign from 2014 to 2020. Daille was instrumental in this group becoming one of the most sought-after groups in the Tri-State area of Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. Along with Pristine Raeign founder Shianne Ladale singer/songwriter, she was a co-writer of some of their best original material. Kettrell is a recent retiree from Camden City School District. She worked in public and parochial school systems as a vocal/general music teacher and choir director for over 30 years. Other ensemble directing credits include her performances with WBGO Jazz-FM 88 Newark Radio Children’s Concerts and Gallery Receptions in Newark, NJ. In addition to leading her own band, the Daille Kettrell Trio, currently she works as a keyboardist with Mary Cross 2NspireU as well as the Mary Cross Quartet, and is musical director with the Not Just Another Sound band. She is co-partner of the music company, Open4BusinessMusic with Ladale where their focus is empowerment for women of all ages. They produce original music and collaborate with other artists for projects as well as performances. Their latest shows included the North 2 Shore Festival in Atlantic City and the Haddon Avenue Street Festival in their beloved Parkside section of Camden. Daille’s future plans include producing film/TV/streaming music.
